Horticultural crop protection

South Australia is the nation’s largest wine grape and potato growing state, and so it is natural that research in these segments form a key part of our contribution to horticultural crop protection. We also possess a strong track record conducting high-quality work in other crops, including pome fruit, almonds, carrots, lettuce, brassicas, tomatoes and cucumbers. The number of protected cropping research projects has increased significantly in recent years, reflecting the expansion of this segment, particularly on the Adelaide Plains.
